The world at your doorstep

A while ago I had the privilege of meeting these two fantastic people. Which is of course something that can happen when you mention, in different channels, things that interest you. (Read hemp … 🙂) New contacts, engaging stories and inspiring meetings emerge from different directions. And this was just such an opportunity!

Kasimir, from USA and Karina, from Russia – two architects who ended up in Umeå via Prague – talked about their commitment to design and all people’s ability to be creative. About the importance of sustainable construction in harmony with nature. Of a new solidarity economy. And not least the commitment to cold baths. So wonderful to listen to, and be inspired! Our common interest was of course the possibilities of hemp in sustainable constructions and local economy.
